Farnborough, United Kingdom – UAE-based Strata Manufacturing PJSC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of advanced composite aerostructures, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Brazilian aerospace giant Embraer during the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, strengthening collaboration in commercial aircraft manufacturing and reinforcing the UAE’s position in the global aerospace industry.
The agreement establishes a framework to evaluate the potential supply of advanced composite aerostructures by Strata for Embraer’s commercial aircraft programs, beginning with the company’s successful E2 family of aircraft. Both organizations will work through a structured roadmap covering technical assessments, commercial evaluations, and contractual milestones before moving toward potential production.
The partnership combines Embraer’s global expertise in commercial aircraft design and manufacturing with Strata’s internationally recognized capabilities in advanced composite aerostructures, creating new opportunities to support next-generation aircraft programs and strengthen global aerospace supply chains.
Beyond the E2 program, both companies also expressed their intention to explore future collaboration across additional Embraer aircraft platforms, opening the door for broader industrial cooperation.
Sara Abdulla AlMemari, Acting CEO of Strata, described the agreement as another milestone in the company’s international expansion strategy.
“This agreement with Embraer represents an important step in expanding Strata’s global partnerships with leading aircraft manufacturers. It reflects the confidence placed in our advanced composite manufacturing capabilities and our ability to deliver world-class aerostructures that meet the highest standards of quality, precision and reliability.”
Roberto Chaves, Executive Vice President of Global Procurement & Supply Chain at Embraer, highlighted Strata’s growing reputation within the global aerospace sector.
“Strata has established a strong reputation as a trusted aerospace manufacturer with advanced composite expertise and a proven commitment to operational excellence. This agreement allows us to evaluate new opportunities to strengthen our global supply chain while supporting the continued success of our commercial aircraft programs.”
The collaboration also supports the UAE’s long-term industrial strategy by positioning the country as a competitive global hub for advanced aerospace manufacturing. As international aircraft manufacturers continue diversifying their supply chains, partnerships such as this demonstrate the UAE’s growing ability to deliver high-value manufacturing capabilities to global markets.
Signed during one of the world’s most influential aviation events, the Farnborough International Airshow, the agreement reflects the increasing importance of international industrial partnerships in driving innovation, improving supply chain resilience, and supporting sustainable growth across the aerospace sector.
As demand for next-generation aircraft continues to rise, the Strata–Embraer collaboration is expected to contribute to stronger manufacturing capabilities, increased technological cooperation, and new opportunities for the UAE’s expanding aerospace ecosystem.
