ABU DHABI – 10 October 2024 – G42, a leading UAE-based technology holding group, announced its return to GITEX GLOBAL 2024, which will take place from October 14-18. In line with GITEX’s focus on global AI collaboration, G42 will introduce its groundbreaking concept, the ‘Intelligence Grid,’ a scalable AI solution poised to revolutionize sectors such as Government, Healthcare, and Energy.
With recent strategic partnerships with U.S. tech giants like NVIDIA, Cerebras, and OpenAI, alongside a $1.5 billion investment from Microsoft, G42 has cemented its leadership in safe, responsible, and sustainable AI development. During GITEX, Peng Xiao, Group CEO of G42, will further discuss the ‘Intelligence Grid’ in a fireside chat on the Main Stage on October 15.
Faheem Ahamed, Group Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of G42, shared: “We envision a future where AI becomes as essential as electricity, integrated into daily life. Our ‘Intelligence Grid’ represents that future, delivering AI-driven insights, assistance, and capabilities seamlessly. Built on scalable infrastructure, the Intelligence Grid ensures AI services remain accessible, reliable, and secure.”
As part of the UAE’s broader AI Strategy 2031, G42 has fostered an ecosystem of companies specializing in various AI fields. Among these, Space42, Core42, Presight, and Khazna will have a prominent presence at GITEX. Space42 focuses on satellite communications and geospatial analytics with AI, while Core42 provides sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure. Presight, known for data analytics powered by generative AI, will present enterprise solutions, and Khazna offers AI-ready data centers, the backbone of the AI economy.
Inception, another G42 subsidiary, will showcase its work in specialized AI models, including large language models (LLMs), highlighting its role in AI-driven innovation across sectors.
“Our commitment to responsible and sustainable AI is reflected in all our projects,” Ahamed added. A key example is the establishment of two Responsible AI centers in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Microsoft, designed to promote ethical AI use and tackle global challenges.
G42’s role as the lanyard sponsor of GITEX 2024 underscores its dedication to educating and inspiring visitors, talent, and industry peers. At the G42 stand, attendees will have access to a full schedule of speaking engagements covering topics such as Smart Cities, Genomics, AI Factories, and Climate Tech. Additionally, the live-recorded G42onAIr podcast and demos will engage visitors throughout the event.
G42 will also launch a new AI research report on October 16 at the GITEX stand.
