Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. April 06, 2023: Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, a Mubadala Health partner, recently hosted a celebratory dinner in honor of its physicians and healthcare professionals. The dinner was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, Vice Chairman, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Chief Executive Officer, Mubadala Health.
The event celebrated the achievements of physicians at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and their contribution in transforming the healthcare sector in the UAE and the wider region. It also aimed to recognize their value in the community as the country leaves the COVID-19 pandemic behind, and appreciates the resilience shown by them taking care of the people of the UAE during this unprecedented time, and beyond.

His Highness the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is devoted to supporting and advancing healthcare in the UAE, where medical care and public health are prioritized. His Excellency stated, “As a Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and on Doctor’s Appreciation Day, I want to highlight the role of the doctors here in Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi that specifically drew my attention. Every patient is treated equally, regardless of gender, age, nationality, religion, race, language, height, weight, or physical condition. This supports the idea that doctors truly embody tolerance, and ensures that all patients receive warmth, empathy, and compassion – uniformly.”
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak concluded his speech by expressing his sincere gratitude to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s doctors.
