AIRZONES SET TO IMPROVE THE AIR AT ph REAL ESTATE

Dubai, Business News: AirZones, the independent star rating standard for indoor air quality, is working with leading local real estate agent, ph Real Estate, to assess its office air quality.

Established in 2008, ph Real Estate is the name behind many milestones – Dubai’s most expensive villa sale in 2017; the most expensive land sale in 2018 and the most expensive rental property in 2019, for example. And now, the renowned brokerage is setting another new industry benchmark – by assessing its air quality.

AirZones has installed air quality monitoring technology across the realtor’s 5,000 square feet head office in the prestigious Marina Plaza, Dubai Marina.

After employing high-tech air quality sensors and monitors to analyse indoor air quality at the Marina Plaza office, AirZones then suggests simple improvements, such as changing products used in the space, to improve indoor air quality and the health of the building – if any are needed.

Spokesman and company co-founder, Chris Leighton says: “Air quality is the elephant in the room. Both the United Nations and the World Health Authority now recognise air pollution as a major killer – and we are helping UAE companies to address poor quality air quickly. We are delighted that forward-thinking companies such as ph Real Estate are taking a bold step to improve the work environment and the health of its staff and guests with our star rated standard for indoor air quality. They’ve joined our quest to make Dubai one of the healthiest cities on earth in terms of air quality.”

ph Real Estate, the first regional brokerage to undergo an indoor air assessment, has developed a reputation, since launch in 2008, for being innovative, forward-thinking, and ahead of the pack. As one of the first corporate venues to work with start-up AirZones, ph Real Estate is keeping ahead of the curve.

Nick Grassick, ph Real Estate Managing Director, says: “We always say the key to our success is the quality of our people. We want to ensure the best possible working conditions for our stellar team, and that means providing the cleanest air. Purer air is proven to improve concentration, mood and productivity – and also leads to less time off due to ill health. Checking our air quality is a win-win. It will ensure our team is given further support to work successfully, and clients visiting our office can rest assured they are enjoying the best air quality possible.

“At ph, our mission is to create a rewarding environment where everyone can excel through training and support. We have bold expansion plans, and to bring them to fruition, we need to continue to attract and retain top talent. Ensuring the best possible working environment – with clean air – goes a long way to achieve that mission. It also provides us with a clear differentiator in terms of attracting talent and clients.”

AirZones’ technicians have installed state-of-the-art, unobtrusive air quality monitoring equipment across the ph Real Estate office, independently measuring air quality over the next month. Having analysed the data gathered, independent advice on any improvements required can then be delivered.

AirZones is working with a diverse range of venues across the UAE, from hospitals to homes, schools to spas. The monitoring equipment is available to both commercial and residential parties.

Founded in Dubai in 2021, AirZones delivers the world’s first Indoor Air Quality Star Rating Standard™, making it simple for everyone to understand the difference in air quality across different venues. AirZones is already being described as “the Trustpilot of Indoor Air Quality”.

Working closely with forward-thinking offices, factories, hospitals and F&B outlets, AirZones analyses existing air quality, then makes simple recommendations to improve air quality and ultimately achieve an air quality star rating, which in turn drives customers to the healthier venues and establishments.

AirZones’ unique approach brings a novel way of addressing the issue, without complexity or high cost.
