Dubai/Riyadh, 6 August 2026 – The Nautilus Maldives has announced an exclusive partnership with acclaimed British artist Phoebe Dickinson, who will join the luxury private island as its new Creative Partner and Artist in Residence from 18 to 21 October 2026.
Recognized internationally for her portraits, landscapes, and still lifes, Dickinson is regarded as one of the UK’s leading contemporary artists. Her residency marks the latest edition of The Nautilus’ “Masters for Masters” creative programme, which celebrates art, creativity, and barefoot luxury in one of the world’s most breathtaking island destinations.
During her four-day residency, Dickinson will lead a series of exclusive guest experiences, including landscape painting masterclasses, daily beachfront painting sessions as part of the resort’s Nautilus Rising sunset experience, open studio sessions where guests can observe her creative process, and a barefoot “Meet the Artist” evening offering personal insights into her artistic inspiration and techniques.
Inspired by the Maldives’ natural beauty, Dickinson will create a collection of original artworks reflecting the archipelago’s unique light, colours, and landscapes. As a lasting keepsake of the collaboration, she will also design a bespoke hand-painted postcard inspired by her stay at the resort.
Philippe Cavory, General Manager of The Nautilus Maldives, said: “This partnership feels like a natural meeting of creative minds. Phoebe’s work is deeply rooted in storytelling, beauty, and a profound sense of place—qualities that resonate with everything The Nautilus represents. Together, we hope to create moments of inspiration that guests will remember long after they leave the island.”
Dickinson added: “I am excited to capture the spirit of the island through painting while inviting guests to experience the joy of artistic expression in such an extraordinary setting.”
