Beautyworld Middle East: A Game-Changer Highlighting Sustainability and the Clean Beauty Movement

Rising Demand and Consumer Expectations in the Middle East’s Clean Beauty Market

Dubai, UAE: This year’s Beautyworld Middle East 2024, the 28th edition of the region’s largest international trade show for beauty and wellness, will serve as a powerful platform for brands transforming the industry’s approach to sustainability. The event will take place from October 28 to 30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Clean + Conscious Segment

The Clean + Conscious segment at Beautyworld Middle East 2024 will feature brands dedicated to making a positive impact on both people and the planet. New exhibitors include Oon Natural, Idemo, and Biossential from Malaysia, Xanella from Sweden, and Nesti Dante from Italy. Visitors can explore these brands in Hall 7 and engage with their innovative products.

Key Pillars of Clean + Conscious Brands

To qualify for participation in Beautyworld Middle East 2024, clean and conscious brands must demonstrate adherence to six key pillars:

  1. Clean: Use of safe, non-toxic, and natural ingredients.
  2. Inclusivity: Celebration of diversity across races, cultures, genders, and ages.
  3. Sustainability: Commitment to zero waste production and environmentally friendly processes.
  4. Ethical Sourcing & Production: Embracing fair trade, cruelty-free, halal, and vegan practices.
  5. Social Impact: Enhancing the welfare of local and global communities through empowerment.
  6. Transparency: Clear communication about the origins and formulations of products.

Significant Growth and Opportunities

This year’s show is 12% larger than 2023, featuring over 2,000 exhibitors, including 400 new participants. As the beauty industry shifts towards cleaner and more conscious practices, brands that align with evolving consumer trends will find substantial opportunities at Beautyworld Middle East.

Ravi Ramchandani, Show Manager, stated, “We are witnessing a notable shift in the beauty industry towards a cleaner and more conscious approach to product creation. Consumers are eager to purchase from authentic, transparent brands that uphold strong values. We are excited to welcome clean and conscious brands at Beautyworld Middle East 2024 and to celebrate the innovation within this rapidly growing sector.”

Awards and Recognition

In addition to the main exhibition, this year’s Beautyworld Middle East Awards will honor the sector with the Conscious Brand of the Year category. Shortlisted finalists include last year’s winner, LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, and the innovative vegan lipstick Alizarine by Le Rouge Francais, featuring plant-based pigments. The winner of this prestigious award will be announced at a grand ceremony on October 29 at the Conrad Dubai.

Beautyworld Middle East 2024 is more than just a trade show; it’s a movement towards sustainable beauty practices. With a focus on clean, ethical, and inclusive beauty, this event promises to inspire both consumers and industry leaders alike.
