Dubai, UAE – October 8, 2024: The Danube Group has proudly commenced the construction of a modern mosque located at the heart of National Industries Park (NIP). This mosque, the first and only one in the area, is a significant step in the Group’s ongoing efforts to serve the community and boost the region’s infrastructure.
The mosque is designed to accommodate over 2,000 worshippers, with space for 1,000 inside and an additional 1,000 in the exterior courtyard. It is set to become a spiritual and community hub for workers and residents in the area and surrounding regions.
The groundbreaking ceremony, held on October 8, 2024, was attended by key figures, including Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, Anis Sajan, Vice Chairman of Danube Group, as well as senior officials, family members, and community leaders. The event marked a historic moment in Danube’s 25-year partnership with DP World and Jafza, whose unwavering support has been vital to Danube’s success.
Rizwan Sajan, commenting on the project, stated:

This event is part of Danube Group’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR), following contributions to several charitable initiatives, including the AED 10 million donation to the Mothers’ Endowment Campaign and the ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ fund in 2023.
Following the success of the Majestic Mosque in Dubai Studio City, the new mosque in NIP will adhere to the same high standards of excellence and inclusivity. The construction is progressing actively, and the mosque is expected to be completed within the next year.
