These hubs will feature contract showrooms and stores from the company’s diverse portfolio, reinforcing its strategy of creating global design destinations.
CEO Andi Owen emphasized the significance of these locations, stating, “We’re thrilled to showcase our design portfolio in such creative environments.” The proximity of brands aims to enhance collaboration among design partners and customers.
MillerKnoll London, located in Clerkenwell, represents the company’s first major venture outside the U.S. Spanning 1,700 square meters across three floors, it includes showrooms and stores from brands like Knoll, Herman Miller, and Maharam. The site also features a MillerKnoll Studio that integrates the collective brands into a cohesive workspace. Ben Groom, President of International Contract, noted, “The opening of MillerKnoll London is a step toward enhancing customer experiences in the UK and Europe.”
MillerKnoll New York, situated at 251 Park Avenue South, occupies 11 floors with over 7,000 square meters dedicated to showcasing the entire brand portfolio. This location combines contract showrooms and retail spaces, providing customers and design professionals a unique experience. Chief Creative Officer Ben Watson stated, “This hub allows us to share insights and innovations under one roof.”
Both locations aim to reflect the brands’ core design principles while pushing a new direction for Knoll environments. The London and New York spaces will incorporate locally inspired design elements, showcasing a blend of modern residential and office settings.
Herman Miller’s refreshed retail spaces in both cities invite consumers to engage with the brand’s innovative lifestyle offerings. The design focuses on creating holistic environments for living, working, and leisure.
In New York, Geiger and DatesWeiser will showcase customized office designs, highlighting features like the DatesWeiser reception desk, which doubles as a display wall. Muuto will also feature a distinctive showroom, emphasizing Scandinavian design through thoughtfully curated furniture and accessories.
