Lutz Holding GmbH, the German industrial group specialising in professional fluid management, has expanded its international footprint with the launch of Lutz-Jesco Italia S.r.l. in Milan, marking a strategic move to deepen its presence in one of Europe’s most important industrial markets.
The new branch office is expected to support the group’s long-term growth strategy in Southern Europe and builds on an existing sales partnership with Italian pump manufacturer ARGAL.
Italy seen as strategic market for industrial and environmental technologies
The company said Italy has become an increasingly important market for the group, particularly across sectors such as water and wastewater treatment, chemical dosing, and environmental technology.
Susanne Maurer, Member of the Management Board of Lutz Holding GmbH and CEO of Lutz-Jesco Italia S.r.l., said the new office would strengthen the company’s ability to support customers locally across the full project lifecycle.
“Italy has a strong industrial base and remains one of Southern Europe’s key markets for water and wastewater technology, chemical dosing, and environmental applications,” she said.
“With the new branch office, we are strengthening our local presence and improving how we support customers in Italy — from planning and commissioning through to after-sales service.”
Full product portfolio to be offered through Italian entity
Lutz-Jesco Italia S.r.l. will offer the full Lutz Group product range, including pumping, dosing, and water treatment solutions for industrial, municipal, and environmental applications.
As part of its market strategy, the new Italian operation will work closely with ARGAL, a pump manufacturer based in Brescia, leveraging the company’s local expertise and market reach.
Maurer said the partnership would help both companies combine technical know-how and create tailored solutions for the Italian market.

Part of broader international expansion strategy
Founded in 1954, Lutz Holding GmbH is known for its work in pump technology, water treatment, and disinfection systems, serving a wide range of industrial and infrastructure sectors.
The company said the establishment of Lutz-Jesco Italia S.r.l. forms part of its wider strategy to expand internationally while reinforcing key regional markets.
Lutz Holding currently operates through sales and production companies in 13 countries, supported by a network of around 130 representatives worldwide.
Maurer said the Milan office would serve as a long-term platform for growth in a strategically important European region.
