Abu Dhabi, UAE – March 30, 2026: Abu Dhabi is set to host the second edition of the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit (ADIS) in May, as the emirate moves ahead with an infrastructure pipeline valued at more than US$57 billion and highlights growing delivery momentum across key sectors.
The summit, organised by the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC), will run from 12 to 14 May 2026 at ADNEC Abu Dhabi under the theme “Urban Evolution: Rethinking Cities, Redefining How We Live.”
The event will bring together policymakers, developers, investors, consultants, and infrastructure leaders to discuss the future of urban development, sustainable city planning, and project delivery at scale.
The announcement coincided with the release of ADPIC’s latest Achievement Report, which showed that the centre delivered 100 capital projects in 2025, underscoring Abu Dhabi’s focus on execution across housing, transport, education, culture, and social infrastructure.
The emirate is increasingly positioning itself as a regional benchmark for infrastructure delivery, supported by broader economic and construction activity. Abu Dhabi’s economy reached AED 325.7 billion in the third quarter of 2025, while the construction sector expanded by 13.9% year-on-year.
ADIS 2026 will feature a conference programme, exhibition, and business matchmaking platform focused on four core areas: delivery-first infrastructure, urban wellbeing, smart solutions, and sustainability and resilience.
For the first time, the summit will also include dedicated sessions in collaboration with FIDIC, the global body representing consulting engineers, focusing on contracts, governance frameworks, dispute avoidance, and project delivery standards.
International participation is expected to increase this year, particularly from Singapore, China, and Türkiye, following ADPIC’s outreach efforts in those markets during 2025.
The inaugural edition of ADIS attracted more than 4,100 participants from over 100 countries and concluded with 15 strategic agreements, setting the stage for a larger and more internationally connected 2026 edition.
As global cities face rising pressure to deliver smarter, lower-carbon, and more resilient infrastructure, Abu Dhabi is positioning itself as a market where major urban ambitions are increasingly being translated into tangible delivery.
