The Emirates Association for Franchise Development (FAD) has unveiled its new corporate identity as Emirates Franchise and announced a newly restructured Board of Directors. This significant milestone coincides with the Association’s 10th anniversary and Abu Dhabi Business Week 2024, hosted in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), and Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
Empowering UAE’s Franchise Ecosystem
Since its establishment in 2014 as an independent entity under ADCCI, the Emirates Franchise has been dedicated to enhancing the local franchise ecosystem. With the new identity, the Association reaffirms its commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), aligning with the UAE Centennial 2071 vision to foster a diversified, sustainable economy.
H.E. Noor Al Tamimi, Chairperson of the Emirates Franchise, stated:

The New Board of Directors
The restructured board represents leadership from across all seven Emirates, including:
- H.E. Noor Al Tamimi – Chairperson
- H.E. Maher Al Aleeli – Vice President
- Representatives from Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah Chambers, and private sector leaders.
The board’s mission is to enhance collaboration across emirates, strengthen the franchise culture, and drive sustainable economic development.

Under the new identity, Emirates Franchise focuses on four strategic pillars:
