DOHA, Qatar, 26 November 2024 – Qatar Airways has announced plans to relocate its global headquarters to Msheireb Downtown Doha in 2025, marking a significant milestone for the airline. This decision aligns with the airline’s focus on innovation, sustainability, and employee accessibility.
The new headquarters will be housed in four interconnected towers in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha, just nine kilometers from Hamad International Airport (DOH). Conveniently located near Msheireb Metro Station, where all Doha Metro lines converge, the new offices will enhance connectivity for Qatar Airways’ employees.
The relocation reflects Qatar Airways’ commitment to sustainable urban design. The headquarters has already received the prestigious SmartScore certification, setting a benchmark for smart, energy-efficient infrastructure. Advanced technology integrated into the design ensures predictive maintenance, resource optimization, and workplace wellness, with a range of digital amenities supporting daily operations.

Msheireb Downtown Doha, known as the world’s first fully built smart and sustainable city district, offers an environment blending Qatar’s architectural heritage with modern design. The new headquarters, located on Al Nakheel Street, will be the tallest building in Msheireb, boasting a total area of 51,602 square feet with breathtaking views of Doha’s skyline.
The relocation will consolidate Qatar Airways’ current operations from three buildings in the Old Airport area to a single, state-of-the-art facility, reinforcing the airline’s vision for a sustainable and connected future.
