Avia Solutions Group Orders 80 737 MAX Aircraft to Meet Peak Season Demand

Dublin, 12 November 2024: Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI provider, has ordered 80 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to strengthen its fleet and meet increasing airline demand for extra capacity during peak seasons. The order, consisting of 40 firm orders and 40 purchase rights, is a key part of the company’s strategy to expand its seasonal fleet management capabilities.

Gediminas Ziemelis, Chairman of Avia Solutions Group, stated, “This order with Boeing supports our commitment to meet the growing need for seasonal capacity, offering airlines operational flexibility and improved fuel efficiency.”

Boeing’s Brad McMullen added, “Avia’s choice of the 737 MAX aligns with the need for more fuel-efficient fleets that enhance the passenger experience.”

The deliveries are set to begin in 2030. Avia Solutions Group currently operates a fleet of 220 aircraft and provides ACMI services in over 60 countries, with 11 AOCs in its portfolio. The company’s global network enables it to meet seasonal capacity needs for airlines worldwide.
