Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is set to showcase the vast opportunities and competitive edge of Dubai’s digital business ecosystem at Expand North Star 2024, the world’s largest gathering of startups and investors, taking place at Dubai Harbour from October 13-16.
As part of its participation, the Chamber will spotlight Dubai’s advanced infrastructure and digital services that foster the growth of startups and attract global entrepreneurs. The event, organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Chamber, offers a platform to display the emirate’s supportive business environment and facilities designed to help digital companies thrive locally and globally.
A key feature of the Chamber’s pavilion will be the launch of ‘Launchpad Dubai,’ an integrated platform developed in collaboration with five key partners. This platform provides entrepreneurs and investors with direct access to services and resources crucial for establishing or scaling up their businesses in Dubai. Partners of this initiative include the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), Emirates NBD, BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem & Associates, Antler, and Silkhaus.
The Chamber will also spotlight its signature ‘Create Apps in Dubai’ initiative, which aims to triple the number of app developers in Dubai by 2025. This initiative, designed to boost the local digital economy, plans to train over 1,000 Emiratis in app development and digital entrepreneurship, supporting the creation of 100 new projects.
Additionally, the Chamber will promote the ‘Business in Dubai’ platform, a practical tool offering essential business services and matchmaking opportunities to connect startups with investors and partners.
By actively contributing to Dubai’s position as a global hub for digital innovation, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy aligns its efforts with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to drive the emirate’s transformation into the world’s leading digital economy.
