Dubai, October 1, 2024 – Dicode Technologies LLC (Dicode) has announced a strategic partnership with X2M Connect Limited (X2M), a leading Australian IoT technology provider, during the 26th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX), organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). This collaboration will bring X2M’s cutting-edge smart gas infrastructure to the UAE, advancing the region’s utilities sector.
The partnership aligns with Dubai’s vision to become a global digital leader. By introducing X2M’s smart utility platform under a “pay as you go” model, Dicode and X2M aim to offer gas companies a cost-effective, zero Capex solution for transitioning to smart infrastructure.
The solution is built on X2M’s flexible, device-agnostic software, compatible with various smart meters and communication protocols such as LoRaWAN, Zigbee, and NBIoT.
Dicode’s CEO, Satish Chandran, emphasized the significance of X2M’s technology in their Platform as a Service (PaaS) model, ensuring rapid scalability in the UAE market. This advanced solution will enhance operational efficiency, safety, and integration across multiple utilities, including gas, water, and electricity.
