Inspiring forums like these help us dive into more dialogue and to drive action.”

Tarek Tawfik, AmCham Egypt President, said: “AmCham Egypt is committed to advancing the private sector commitments towards climate mitigation and adaptation. Such forums will go a long way in leading our collective efforts to fight climate change by assisting organizations and members in fostering innovation and scientific thinking. We are truly at a critical juncture – the world needs greater collaboration and faster action to protect our planet.”

He added: “On behalf of AmCham Egypt and our nation to the world – we want to thank you and reiterate our commitment to solving one of the world’s greatest crises.”

No doubt, our climate commitments are guided by science to create a more sustainable world in the long term. While we’re taking a leading role, we’re also learning from others, convening coalitions and forums, and working collaboratively with governments, partners, and key organizations to help customers, industries, and communities for a better future.”
