EGA pays tribute to UAE on tenth year on Flag Day

Emirates Global Aluminium, the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside oil and gas, has celebrated the tenth year of the UAE Flag Day celebration with traditional flag-raising ceremonies at its sites in Al Taweelah and Jebel Ali.

The ceremonies saw EGA’s executive leadership and employees gather to reaffirm their allegiance to the symbol of the UAE’s unity and strength.

EGA’s Chief Executive Officer, Abdulnasser Bin Kalban, said: “Today, we stand together with our brothers and sisters across the Emirates to reaffirm our allegiance to the UAE’s principles and values, inspired by our Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. We are proud to stand with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as we celebrate the achievements of our great nation and visionary leadership, and we renew our commitment to achieving the bold ambitions of UAE Centennial 2071.”

UAE Flag Day falls on November 3rd, marking the anniversary of His Highness the late Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s ascension to the UAE Presidency in 2004.
