Aerospace Global Forum announces partnership with KPMG International

Business News: KPMG International is the latest internationally-recognised thought leader to be appointed a partner of the Aerospace Global Forum, which is launching at the world-famous Farnborough International Airshow, 18-22 July 2022.

A global group of professional services and one of the Big Four, KPMG International is at the forefront of industrial innovation and change. With a focus to drive positive change for clients, its people and society at large, the organisation is harnessing its position as a thought leader to take constructive steps toward a more sustainable global eco-system.

KPMG International will support AGF in championing change and driving immediate action, enabling the global platform to accelerate the transition to a net-zero economy. KPMG International will also be hosting the ‘Sustainability Across Defence’ panel within the agenda.

Grant J. McDonald, FCPA, FCA, Global Industry Leader, Aerospace at KPMG International, said: “KPMG has a long history of participating at the Farnborough international Airshow, with many senior members of the firm from around the world attending each event to deepen relationships with our global aerospace client base. With the significant efforts made by FIA to establish an outstanding virtual program during COVID-19 and the value we found in participating, it was natural for KPMG to join the Aerospace Global Forum 2022. We are particularly pleased that AGF’s 2022 show themes includes sustainability, which is both relevant to the industry and aligned with KPMG’s Impact Plan, which focuses on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.

“AGF 2022 enables us to collaborate with FIA to assemble a world-class panel that will address the effect climate change has on the aerospace sector. At KPMG we believe this is an important dialogue which will help drive tangible change. We look forward to the Forum!”

Gareth Rogers, CEO of Farnborough International, said: “We’re excited to welcome another world-class partner to our stellar lineup of thought leaders. KPMG International has been a loyal exhibitor and supporter of the Farnborough International Airshow for many years and we’re proud to be enhancing our strong relationship as partners. In line with their partnership of our new global initiative, KPMG International will be providing us with their invaluable insight, best practice and strategies as a major leader within the aerospace and defence industry. I look forward to working with KPMG International on this year’s AGF.”

AGF will set the agenda for the industry in the years ahead, discussing the new digital workforce and future leaders of the aerospace and defence industry, and preparing organisations for the new skills needed in an AI-fuelled world.
