Sharjah Chamber launches ‘Sharjah Promotions’ Strategy to manage, organize marketing campaigns across the emirate

Sharjah, Business News: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has launched a new strategy called the “Sharjah Promotions” strategy, which includes creative plans for the management and organization of the promotional offers the SCCI is organizing all year long.

The move comes as part of the SCCI’s keenness to boost the competitiveness of the Sharjah economy, meet the needs of the private sector, contribute to the sustainable development of all sectors, especially the retail sector, and increase sales across Sharjah.

The new strategic plan features 6 major events, the first of which is Sharjah Shopping Promotions, which will kick off on December 15 until January 31, 2022.

The next year the SCCI will also organize the following events (Sharjah Ramadan Festival, Sharjah Summer Promotions, Eid in Sharjah, Grand Discounts Campaign, and Back to School Festival).

“The SCCI’s new plan aims to provide an umbrella for the entire commercial events and activities organized by the Chamber, develop a marketing strategy working to create effective communication channels between shopping centers and the people to achieve the desired goals of the offers,” said Abdul Aziz Shattaf, Assistant General Manager for Communication and Business Sector, SCCI. “The strategy also seeks to promote the advantages of Sharjah that places it among the most prominent tourist and commercial destinations regionally and globally.”

Jamal Said Bouzanjal, Director of Corporate Communications Department, General Coordinator of Promotions, said: “Sharjah Promotions strategy seeks to achieve a set of goals. This includes advancing the status of the SCCI’s promotional offers from the local framework to the regional and global one and launching new offers and campaigns that cover and fulfill the needs of various business sectors, and coming up with out-of-the-box ideas to increase the number of visitors to shopping centers and shops across the emirate.”

He added, “The strategy includes a comprehensive media plan for all events and festivals, including the launch of a smart application, a website, and social media accounts named “Sharjah Promotions” promote campaigns and marketing offers. This is in addition to launching a marketing guide and helping retailers and facilitating their participation in the events, while identifying the target groups for the offers that they will present and promoting them through the websites.
